Personal History
Married to Danielle Sturgill since 2005. The two enjoy raising their four children and golden retriever and spend most of their free time coaching, volunteering and supporting their kids in various sports and activities.

Summary
Mike graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in International Business and a minor in Spanish. He attended Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law where he graduated in 2012. He was selected and competed on the SMU Mock Trial Team all four semesters of eligibility, won several awards on and off campus and was selected to the Order of the Barristers.
Mike began his legal career working for an oil and gas firm where he gained valuable experience and understanding of property rights and ownership interests. He later joined a litigation firm where he was able to develop his litigation skills and learn from highly successful attorneys. He has successfully advised and represented clients in divorce and child custody cases, debt claim cases, ADA claims and other civil disputes as well as probate and estate planning. He spends the majority of this time in the courtroom, attending hearings, arguing motions and representing clients at trial.

Why you decided to become a lawyer
Mike believes in advocating for others; something he has done as a missionary and continues to do as a volunteer and as an attorney. He is dedicated to helping others and providing quality representation. Mike has always enjoyed debating and has participated in numerous mock trials, moot court, other debate opportunities and arguing with anyone who disagrees with him.
